The Waterskiing Chair.
This is the patented chair that is mounted to a pair of waterskis, allowing beginners and experts alike to ski from a stable seated position. Introduced almost 50 years ago, the chair consists of a backless seat connected to broad, widely-spaced skis by a pivoting steering mechanism. Leaning to one side in the chair automatically causes the skis to carve the water in the same direction. The chair only requires riders to hold a tow rope and maintains its balance even when crossing a boat’s wake. Experienced skiers will find the chair maneuverable enough to perform many of the same tricks they attempt when standing. The vinyl-covered chair is padded with 2″ of closed-cell foam that absorbs the jolts encountered when riding waves. Tubular stainless steel frame and hardware and wood/laminate skis ensure years of use. Made in the U.S. Assembly required. 71″ L x 31″ W x 13″ H. (28 lbs.)
